For Katie's Babies (Twins)!

As you all probably know by now, I am the Volunteer Coordinator for a local Hospice. One of our nurses just gave birth to two precious babies; Ella and Elijah. They are gorgeous and I wanted to make them a little gift.
We call these Woobie's at our house. They are small (3x3) quilts intended for babies to drag around until they are in tatters. My feelings would be very hurt if they were put up to keep. I hope she loves them! I would be most happy to tell you the names and designer's of the fabric, but I don't remember, as these are stash quilts... But, some of it is Katie Jump Rope!

This one is baby Ella's.

And, this is baby Elijah's. (I promise it is not as out of square as it appears in the photo.)

  1. The woobie's are so cute! I recently made "mini I Spy" quilts (about 20" X 25") but have never thought about making mini baby quilts - it's such a great idea and a gift any Mum would appreciate. Well done!

  2. Neat idea! I have some of the flower material-I just love the colors in it!

  3. That is so sweet of you!! Those turned out just darling and I bet they are going to be loved to tatters!!

  4. I love the woobies (what a great name). Wonderful idea & a good way to use up the stash. I found your blog through my friend Helen (Aunty Henny) and am really enjoying it.

  5. Thank you all for the sweet comments! I am hooked on this quilting and blogging about it!

Sue, do you have a blog? I tried to finda way to email you, but couldn't!

  6. I don't have a blog Glenda but you never know what might happen in the future.
